Introduction:
Rahe Farda Radio & Television Channel is a private media which is operating within the framework of afghan constitutional law and according to chapter 34 of afghan constitution by having updated news and informational programs it aims to strengthen the freedom of speech in order to pick up effective steps towards promotion and stability of the country.
Goals:
 The following four objectives are the statute of Rah-e-Farda channel:                                              
1. Political Department: promoting and strengthening national and international values.
2. Educational Department: producing scientific, educational, hygienic and sports programs. 
3. Cultural and social Department: producing and telecasting movies and serials having historical and cultural values. 
4. Economical Department: investing, marketing and taking part in economical debates are the duties and activities of the Dep. 
Rah-e-Farda Radio: 
Rah-e-Farda Radio is the first leg of the channel and was started on 15/9/1385 or September 5th 2006 while it has 18 hours program in a day.
1- News Department has 13 latest news services in four languages (Dari, Pashto, Uzbeki and English) in a day. And it is to launch Turkish, Arabic and Urdu programs after started broadcasting on satellite.
2- Sobh-e-Farda, Khanawada, Rozha-e-Zendagi, Salam Jawan, Asr-e-Farda are the cultural and social programs of the radio and Barg-e-Sabz, Kocha-e-Kahkeshanha and Dami Ba Takhnikaran are the contested entertainment programs which encourages people to participate in social competitions in order to pave the way for promotion.
Rah-e-Farda Television: 
on September 1st the trial broadcasting of Rah-e-Farda TV was started.
 And on March 1st 2008 the Main Broadcasting was launched.
Right now it has 17 hours program in a day. 
1-News Department has 10 latest news services in four languages (Dari, Pashto, Uzbeki and English) which are 20% of whole duration of the period.
And it is to launch Turkish, Arabic and Urdu programs after started broadcasting on satellite.
2-Sobh-e-Farda and children’s program are the permanent programs of the TV which is telecasted during the week.
3-Asrar-e-Hasti, Salam Jawan, Golgasht, Khanawada Salem, Naistan and Hemasa orooj are the social and cultural programs of Rah-e-Farda Television which are telecasted one or two times a week.
4- Rah-e-Farda Television is more focused on sports which has four permanent sports programs under the name of Dunia-ye-football, Payam awarn-e-Solh, Warzesh herfawi (two times a week).
And in addition, extraordinary international Sports matches are telecasted live from the TV 
Film and serial are the other important programs which have lots of fans among the people and Rah-e-Farda TV telecasts four films in week from different world cinemas.
Two serials are telecasted every night while one is telecasted three times a week.
Emtehan-e-Farda is the entertainment program and every two weeks 7 persons examine his capacity for being as a presenter.
